A confident client-facing individual with over 20 years of applications development and project management experience. This manager’s strong sense of delivery focus has been developed whilst working for blue chip customers such as American Express, National Westminster Bank, IBM, Mercedes Benz, Ford and most recently Goldman Sachs in New York. His man management skills have also been enhanced by his experiences as a Territorial Army officer.

Mike has managed all areas of the Development Life Cycle (DLC), with special emphasis on financial applications, data analysis / data conversion and testing, in a host of different technical environments. He has worked with a wide range of the traditional methodologies, including RAD and has sound experience of testing methods, using both manual and automated testing tools, in a variety of both traditional and e-business environments. As a manager he has led teams that range from small, flexible teams aimed at achieving rapid results, to much larger teams of twenty to thirty people working on major change initiatives spanning several projects.

His willingness to undertake new challenges and to learn new techniques has been borne out many times, as is his ability to get the job done. He enjoys a challenge, works well under pressure and his broad experience of managing across a wide variety of applications / platforms, positions him rather uniquely in today’s market.
